The Restaurant

The restaurant has been created in an ancient building on the centuries old Sienese wall, once used as stabling for carriages and horses.
Over time, the restaurant has been managed by the Bindi-Paderno family, which has handed down its ancient recipes through 6 generations, to offer its guests genuine cuisine, with typical dishes and ancient flavours.

Today, the cuisine is the fruit of an authentic passion, which has succeeded in remaining loyal to the centuries old recipes using local and D.o.p. ingredients:
pasta exclusively homemade served with sauces of wild boar, meat and hare, “acquacotta” soup, choice morsels of wild boar with butter, braised lamb, T-bone steak, venisonand other seasonal dishes such as cream of artichoke soup, fried courgette flowers, thistle spud flan. Sweets and desserts (fruit pies, panna cotta, tarts, Florence style “zuccotto” and ricotta strudel) strictly homemade.

We look forward to meeting you to introduce you to the pleasures of typical Tuscan cuisine, the local wines and for the discovery of the fascination of a unique landscape.


Cafè

The café service is open to customers, in the shade of pergola more than one hundred years old, where you can enjoy homemade ice-cream and desserts, specialities of the territory, or simply take a break while visiting the hamlet, sipping an excellent coffee.

Morning: 9.30 - 11.30

Afternoon: 15.00 - 18.00
